The Thigh-Mate® is a patented
thigh-weight system designed to work
the muscles of the mid and lower body,
primarily the thighs, hips, abdominals
and buttocks. It consists of a pair
of weight pouches that surround the
thighs, connected to a supporting
waist-belt and harness system. By
applying resistance to the wearer's
legs, the ThighMate allows for handsfree
toning of the entire lower body.
The Thigh-Mate’s® unique
and patented design is created with
both safety and comfort in mind, as
well as the provision of an effective
workout. The wearer can utilize the
Thigh-Mate® for a variety of exercises,
both lying or standing. While standing,
the weight contained in the products
weight-pouches is comfortably distributed
over the wearer's hips by the padded
support belt. In addition, the pouches
themselves are securely anchored in
place around the users legs by the
products harness system and side-support
rods. This patented design serves
to prevent the weights from bouncing
or shifting during prolonged usage.
The weights are deliberately positioned
above the knees to prevent injury
to the knee ligaments.
